A Crisis Committee can be thought of as a less formal, faster paced, and more spontaneous GA committee with the delegates representing actual characters instead of countries. Imagine being a leader or group and facing a crisis. There isn’t time to write large resolutions so instead there are informal directives. The colorfulness and liveliness of the Mushroom World may convince you that its kingdoms are utopian places with peace and comfort, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The land inhabited by beloved household names like Mario, Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, and Yoshi has suffered from the evils of war as far back as anyone can remember. Horrible deeds, such as large-scale invasions, political kidnappings, and forced displacement, have been trivialized.

In an unprecedented move, some of the most powerful leaders of the Mushroom World have reunited with the hope of utilizing diplomacy rather than mushroom power-ups to resolve the conflicts that plague their lands. In this complex world filled with a wide range of self-interested sentient beings capable of massive destruction, can a multilateral solution be found that offers the world's residents a new era of peace and economic prosperity, or will their world descend into even greater everlasting chaos?

The Cabinet of Tsar Nicholas II

The House of Romanov is no stranger to political turmoil and challenges, having faced several uprisings and even Napoleon's formidable invasion, emerging victorious. However, by 1905, the future appeared more uncertain than ever. Lackluster results in the Russo-Japanese War and lagging behind other European powerhouses in industrialization have led millions of Russians to grow discontent with their leaders, perceiving them as weak at best and greedy monsters at worst. Demands for large political reform begin mounting as some even question the need for a monarch in the first place. 

Tasked with safeguarding the interests of the royal family, the Cabinet of Tsar Nicholas II must find solutions to the empire's various problems while preserving the authority of the tsar (and, by extension, their own). Will the downfall of Russia's long-standing monarchy be inevitable, or can Tsar Nicholas II's closest allies succeed in alleviating the nation's crises and rehabilitating the reputation of their Tsar?

It is 1944, and as World War Two continues to rage on all over the world, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces, Dwight D. Eisenhower, calls upon key operatives of the intelligence community from the Allied Forces to assist in planning for the top-secret Operation Overlord, also known as the Battle of Normandy. From brilliant scientists to seasoned veterans, committee members are united by their shared rejection of the Axis powers and the furtive nature of their operations. Working from the shadows, they devise intricate schemes to ensure the accomplishment of their agendas, shaped by personal beliefs and national interests. With their covert missions spanning across Europe, will the Allied Forces' greatest secret agents triumph over fascism and pave the way for a better Europe in the aftermath of the war?

For years, Stark Industries enjoyed the comfort of being associated with one of Earth's mightiest heroes, growing in size and popularity. However, after Iron Man’s demise, the tech conglomerate now faces challenging developments. From a terrorist attack in London being allegedly linked to Spiderman and the company’s products to greater criticism from governments and the public alike on Stark Industries’ monopolistic control over the technology industry and reckless artificial intelligence development, it seems the company may not be the titan it was before the hero’s death. 

More crucial than anything else is the need for Stark Industries to chart a clear vision for its future without Tony Stark. The Board of Directors is divided on the path it should pursue. Factions grow on several fronts in each issue the company faces, and each promotes a distinct interpretation of the values and central focus points of the company.

Exploring the intricacies of corporate decision-making and the impact of advanced technology on society, these clashes will shape the future of Earth's wealthiest company and the new Iron Man-less world. Stark Industries must navigate these challenges, redefine its identity, and address public distrust to maintain its global prominence.

The Ad Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General is a general crisis committee tailored towards experienced delegates looking for a challenge. Delegates must think on their feet and use their creativity to adapt to testing conditions.
